  • the Kevin mobile application and related assistant services.

Depending on how you use our services, we may process the following categories of data:

  • Voice recordings: audio recordings that you intentionally create in the Kevin application when asking the assistant a question.
  • Photos and images: photographs that you intentionally capture and upload through the Kevin application using the in-app camera.
  • Conversation context: session identifiers and assistant interaction data needed to return responses within a conversation.
  • Technical and diagnostic information: limited technical events required for application stability, troubleshooting, and service operation.
  • Battery status: the application may access battery level information locally on the device to provide accessibility-related voice alerts. This information is not used as conversation content.

3. Camera and Microphone Permissions

The Kevin application requests access to the device camera and microphone only to provide features explicitly initiated by the user.

  • Camera is used only when the user opens the in-app camera and intentionally takes a photo for assistant context.
  • Microphone is used only when the user intentionally records a spoken question.

We do not use the camera or microphone for background recording, continuous monitoring, or advertising purposes.

4. How We Use the Information

We use the processed information only for legitimate service-related purposes, including:

  • responding to contact form inquiries,
  • processing voice questions and photos submitted by the user,
  • providing assistant responses within the active conversation,
  • maintaining accessibility functions such as spoken status notifications, and
  • maintaining, securing, and improving the technical operation of the application and backend services.

5. How Photos and Voice Recordings Are Processed

When a user records a question or uploads a photo in the Kevin application, the content is transmitted to the assistant backend infrastructure used to generate a response. Photos are uploaded only after the user confirms the capture. Voice recordings are uploaded only after the user explicitly records and submits them.

The application is designed so that uploaded photos become part of the active conversation context. Voice recordings and photos are not collected automatically without user action.

6. Sharing of Data

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by service providers that are necessary for the operation of the assistant functionality, hosting infrastructure, or technical maintenance of the service. Such processing is limited to what is necessary to provide the requested functionality.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was provided, including providing requested assistant functionality, handling inquiries, fulfilling legal obligations, and resolving technical or security issues. Conversation-related data may be retained for operational continuity and service quality, subject to applicable legal requirements and contractual arrangements.

8. Cookies and Tracking

Our website does not rely on invasive tracking for the purposes described in this policy. If third-party services or future functionality introduce additional tracking technologies, this policy will be updated accordingly.
